Before the show - I was in heaven – four fabulous friends and
my favorite band about to appear on stage!!
Jars of Clay played an awesome set – all songs from their Christmas cd. These guys are true musicians and performers. I was not disappointed in the least!! During the intermission we waited in line for autographs and I got Jars to sign the back of my iPod. Dan even drew a clay pot around the apple – way cool!
The second half of the show was Third Day, who sang both Christmas songs and some of their hits. Again, an awesome show! For the last song, Jars and Third Day were on stage together, and they sang a combination of “Love Song” and “Love Song for a Savior”, with Mac singing Dan’s part and vice versa. One of my favorite moments ever in concert history.
