It seems almost impossible to believe that it was 10 years ago today that I got the call about Keri falling down the steps and winding up in the hospital. At 2 pm the news was that everything was ok, and that Keri's doctor would induce labor when she came on shift at 6 pm that night. So, I head to the movies thinking I had plenty of time. Not just any movie, but I had to pick Out of Africa, which was like 42 hundred hours long. When I got out of the theater, Austin had already been born! Nuts! He spent the first few days of his life in NICU, and I will never forget going to the hospital, scrubbing up, putting on the gowns, and getting to hold that beautiful baby. He was twice the size of the other babies in NICU, and oh so precious. And just look at him now – 10 years old! Next thing you know, he’ll be going to college!
Enjoy the pics below - they only go back as far as my digital camera, so I don’t have the really early years.

We hope you are having a wonderful birthday Austin! We love you!
