Bradley and I had an awesome time at the concert! I can’t believe we got third row seats – they must have opened up at the last minute. Here are Bradley and I before the concert, and a few pics of Aaron Shust.
Then Audio Adrenaline immediately came on the stage, so full of energy! I took some videos because the pics weren’t turning out so great with that lighting; but here’s a few.
The first video is of Big House, and Mark Stuart playing in the crowd. There’s nothing quite like Mark Stuart during Audio A concert – he really knows how to get the crowd going!

The next video is for the Austins – “Hands and Feet”. They are truly living what the song says – “I want to be your hands, I want to be your feet, I’ll go where you send me.”

The next video is one of my favorite Audio A songs – “Get Down”.

And for the last one “Goodbye” – I have to admit, I started tearing up a bit thinking how hard it must be for Mark to be giving up something he loves so much even though I know it’s for the best. Goodbye Audio A – you rock!!

After a brief intermission Mercy Me came on stage and I was reminded what a huge voice Bart has! He told a great story of how way back in 1995 they went on tour with Audio A and they have been great friends ever since. He says they pretty much owe their ministry to Audio A, and that they wanted to sing an Audio A song as a tribute. Then Bart says there was no way he could sing as fast as Mark Stuart – that he might have a heart attack – so he had to pick a slow one. Since there were only a couple, that made it easy. So here’s a little bit of them covering “Tremble”.

And here’s a little bit of them singing “I Can Only Imagine”, and once again the focus is on the imagery instead of the band members. That’s always been one of my favorite things about Mercy Me – they have remained humble.

And finally a song that always reminds me of my Jill. I only wish she could have been there with me!
