We had to wear our “Release the Beasts” t-shirts to the swim meet. I have to say they looked a LOT better on Bradley and Ella!!
When we got in the car at 9:50, it was still 9 degrees outside – yikes!!
Since we didn’t have to be at the swim meet until 11:00, we decided to drive over the mountain pass to see Lake Tahoe. This was our first view. The pictures absolutely do not do it justice – this place is beautiful!!
Ella was asleep in the car (thanks to a little ‘tussin), so the rest of us got out at the vista and walked around for a few minutes. Check out my new Gap (red) parka that I got for Christmas (thank you Mimi, I LOVE it!!).
Hanging out at the swim meet and talking to Brandon, Coach Carol’s son. Check out Ella watching “My see Mermaid.” She only recently discovered Ariel, and now that’s all she wants to watch! If only we had a dollar for every time she says “My see Mermaid”…
That night we watched the Saints game in the hotel room (Who Dat!!) and played a lot of gin rummy. Bradley is quite the card shark!!
