I went to get the kids up on Friday and found them sleeping in the same position - too cute! Rick is in Alabama visiting his Dad, so we will have a low key New Year's. We'll still have the traditional ham and cabbage and black-eyed peas, but it won't be the same without the rest of the family. Maybe we'll be home for Christmas and New Year's next year (if only for a visit).
Please keep Pops (and Mimi D) in your prayers in the coming weeks, as he will be undergoing radiation treatments to the brain. These treatments may cause short-term memory loss, but in his words, he "has that anyway"! I LOVE that he is keeping his sense of humor!
