Ok, so earlier tonight....

I didn't hear Ella making any noise for about 3 minutes, so I asked Rick to check on her. She was in the hall bathroom, pajama bottoms and diaper off, and she had climbed up on the toilet by herself. Rick calls me in, and I get out the potty seat for the top of the toilet and put her on it. I walked away for a few minutes, and Rick calls me in. She had gone in the toilet - number one and number two! We were pretty much in shock, because we haven't even tried potty training yet! Of course, now that I'm blogging this, she'll probably never get on the toilet again until she's 4! So now we have mixed emotions - proud of her because she figured it out by herself, but dreading that we have to keep up with it. Parenting is such a roller coaster of emotions!!
