Bradley is so grown up already! I took him to school this morning, and we went early because I had to pick up some stuff from his teacher. When we met her a couple weeks ago she asked me to create a homework sheet for her, and naturally I went overboard (I have a lot of free time - but not for much longer!), so she asked me to do some more typing for her. After we went to the classroom, I walked Bradley to the playground so he could wait for the bell. We walked around and figured out what he needed to do in the afternoon, and I told him I could wait for the bell with him. "No thanks, Mom." So we walked around and put his back pack down, and I asked again - do you want me to stay with you until the bell? "No thanks, Mom." Then I asked if I could give him a hug and a kiss - "NOOOOO!" One more time - are you sure you don't want me to stay until the bell? "MOM!!" Then I said goodbye and he ran off to play on the equipment and never looked back. Why was it so much easier for him than me? I mean, brand new school, didn't know anybody except the teacher - he was supposed to stay with me until the bell! Oh well, I guess I'm glad he's getting so independent.

love, ang
It pulls at my heart strings. I dread the day that Ani and Ruston run off to play without looking back. They grow up too fast. . .
Kids are amazingly resilient! I bet he's already got the run of the school down. Can't believe he's so grown up!
