We stayed for a late night concert with Paul Wright, Bradley's favorite singer. We met him the first time at Spirit West Coast 2004, a few days after I found out I was pregnant with Ella. Of course we had to sit through Phil Joel, the ex guitar player for The Newsboys. Earlier Rick overheard some teenagers saying they had seen Phil Joel and the he was "pimp". So by the time we were worn out and waiting for Paul Wright, the jokes were flowing from Rick....I wonder why Phil Joel left The Newboys? Maybe he was too pimpalicious for them....Maybe his pimpocity was too high....
After the mini concert we stayed and waiting for Paul Wright to sign autographs. We were there with some of Paul's die-hard fans, and one girl gave him a hard time about not singing "Fly Away", which apparently she had requested he sing at three of his previous concerts (I really did mean die-hard fans). So, she said he could make it up by singing into her phone, which he did happily. He really is such a nice guy, and I'm happy that he is Bradley's fave (for now). Who knows who it will be when he's 15?!?!?
