To all my friends and family members that read my blog - I'm asking for your help. We recently found out that our friend Bernie's dad has colon cancer and he's going through major surgery today. I met Bernie my first semester of graduate school and I met Mr. Kevlin just a few short months after that. Most of you know that we have been going to Mr. Kevlin's house in Pontchatoula for the Strawberry Festival almost every year for the last 13 years. He is one of our favorite people in the whole world. Even if you don't know Mr. Kevlin, please lift him up in prayer today. I totally believe in the power of prayer and The Brauns really need it.
"Father, we lift up Mr. Kevlin to you and ask that you watch over him today as he undergoes life-saving surgery. Help him to have a speedy recovery, and help ease the minds of his family members. Keep them strong and give them faith. In Your Name we pray, Amen."
