Ella woke up at 2:30 am on the 31st puking her guts up. We sent her to daycare, but by lunch time she was puking again and I had to go get her and take her to the doctor for a shot of phenergan. I'm thinking I'll get to relax for a couple hours while she takes a nap, but she has the Aunt Keri, red-headed constitution and phenergan didn't make her sleepy at all! So, no Halloween for Ella. Luckily she's too young to know she missed it, and we had already taken pics of her in her costume on Sunday. Last night Bradley started puking, and I was at the 24-hour pharmacy this morning at 2:00 am getting him phenergan suppositories. He's still puking this morning and Rick is taking another sick day off. Rick is never sick, so I can't remember him ever taking two days in a row off.
Bradley dressed up as a goblin again and tried to pretend that he was excited about walking around the apartments for trick-or-treat.
The goblin scared the heck out of Ella even though she had already seen it previously. Our motto is that being scared "builds character."
Bradley knocking on one of the 4 doors we went to before we decided this was the saddest Halloween ever!
Then we decided to drive to the mall. It was a safe place to be, but the thousands of people were hearding around the mall like cattle waiting in line for a tiny little piece of candy. It was really sad!
After twenty minutes of waiting in line, this was Bradley's loot:
Another 20 minutes of waiting and Bradley/Goblin Boy/Cousin It got a picture with Sponge Bob.
The elections here are as crazy as back home, and some people decided it would be worthwhile to walk around the mall with suits on and paper bags over their heads because the didn't like Ensign. I thought this was funny and pitiful that they didn't even get the bags right - the Ensign bag should have been on the left to match the sign. But I thought it was even funnier and more pitiful that this family was taking a picture with them as though it were a real Halloween costume! They should have stuck with the Elvis they were taking a picture with earlier.

That's so sad...When Rani was little she used to get an ear infection which would cause her to spike a high temp every Halloween. Then the one year she wasn't sick, she split her head open on the corner of the wall at her Omi's house. Halloween is vexed! Hopefully next year will be better for Bradley. XOXO
