Halloween 2006 has been pretty sad for us so far. We’ve spent so many Halloweens past with our family scaring our kids - and other people’s. Those memories are priceless - Rick and Uncle Chad dressing up in scary costumes and running out of nowhere to scare the kids; Mimi, Nanna and Pa-Ron hanging out with us; and the kids (who are so used to getting candy all the time) getting tired of knocking on doors about half way around the neighborhood. Last year the kids even laid on the ground at Aunt Keri’s house and scared people as they walked up! Halloweens have been so much fun for us that I bequeathed my fog machine to Uncle Chad when we left Baton Rouge.
Because of Bradley’s issues last week (see Goings On below) we didn’t go to his swim team Halloween party. Today we went to Montelago Village at Lake Las Vegas and it was mainly for little kids so Bradley couldn’t wear his scary costume. He’ll be able to wear it Tuesday when we trick-or-treat around the apartment complex – I’m sure that will be LOADS of fun…
