Leave Without Pay

See how much fun you can have when you're not at work?!? I had to take leave without pay today to take Ella to the doctor. The daycare said she had a problem in her diaper area, but the doctor said nothing was wrong (just as I suspected). At least she got her 18 month shots (2 months late). Her stats:

Height - 34 1/2 inches (97th percentile)
Weight - 27 pounds (80th percentile)
Head - 48.5 cm (90th percentile)

I love Dr. Glasser - she said there's no need for a well baby check at 2 years old because Ella's done with her shots for a few years. We'll only be seeing her if one of the kids is sick!

After we picked Bradley up from school we drove over to The District (a shopping mall) to see if there was a stationary store in there, and we came upon this really cool car show so we just had to get out and see! The cars were really cool and we took a few pics (with my cell phone) of our favorites. The white corvette (the collage maker cropped Bradley out) was the bomb when I was in high school - the only corvettes that were cool were the ones with the straight back glass. The yellow car is a Lamborghini Diablo, and the red El Camino is in honor of Pops. The people who owned the race car were nice enough to let Bradley sit in it. All this fun would not have been possible if I would have been stuck at work (but at least I would have been getting paid!). Posted by Picasa
