I encourage everyone to check out the link I added to The Austin Family blog. We met Arnold and Susie and their kids in Houston, of all places! We were there to see Hero, a modern day worship musical that featured a lot Christian recording artists. After the show we were waiting in line to get autographs and we ran into the Austins. After a couple of 'you look familiar's, we realized that we were all members of Parkview! It's such a small world!
That night we found out that the Austins are huge Audio Adrenaline fans, so much so that they are now featured on the remix of Audio A's Goodbye song. And, when Rick first moved out here, he was listening to the Air1 radio station and Audio A was talking about their friends, the Austins. Arnold has link on his blog to his myspace page where you can listen to the new version of the song - it's really cool!
Check out their entire story on their blog. They have given up what most would call a normal life to become missionaries in Peru (although they are still training in Costa Rica at the moment). When I think about what they are doing on a daily basis to spread God's word and love, I'm in awe. They are really amazing people, and I'm blessed to call them friends.
