Disneyland / California Adventure Day 4

Got up early again and hit Space Mountain. Bradley rode it three times in one hour – twice with me, and once with Rick. That kid is nuts! Then we went to what I had been waiting for – the new Pirates of the Carribean! It has a couple new areas with Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, and it was cool to see how much of the movie was like the ride.

After Pirates we went back to California Adventure so Rick could ride Soarin (me again, too). We took these cool pictures at Paradise Pier. That huge thing in the background is California Screamin, and the swinging ferris wheel is to the side of it. The loop-de-loop is around Mickey’s head.

We were all pretty tired at that point so we made it an early day and spent the afternoon at the pool. I swear I think Bradley would have rather been at the pool than at the parks! It was kind of tough waiting in all those lines. We are so looking forward to Disney World in December when there won’t be as many people. Plus, we’ll be with family, so it will definitely be better! Later that evening we went shopping at Downtown Disney and ate dinner at the Rain Forest Café. We got this precious Tinkerbell outfit for Ella for Halloween, which sparked another discussion of what are we going to do for Halloween? We had so much fun scaring people in the past, and now we don’t even have a house for people to knock on the door! Oh well, at least I’ll have sweet little Tinkerbell, and whatever evil, scary creation Bradley comes up with!
