Not that I have expressed too many opinions on my blog at this point, but I just want everyone reading this to know that you can feel free to disagree with me, and your comments will not be deleted - especially when it comes to parenting.

Once I was discussing parenting, and I said, "I'm trying not to make the same mistakes my parents made," and my good friend Karen Bourgeois said, "No - you'll make your own." That simple, yet profound, statement really registered with me because it's so true. No matter how hard you try to get it right, everyone makes parenting mistakes - Lord knows I do. And I don't believe there is any one "right" way to parent. If everyone raised their kids exactly the same way, life would be boring!!

So, to all the parents I personally know - keep up the great work!! You all have happy, wonderful, beautiful children that are going to turn into exceptionally wonderful adults. I am blessed to know them all!!
