Friday nights are just no fun without a trip to the hospital. Ella had a few of the magnet balls from Bradley's mags in her hands and walked into the other room. The next thing I heard was choking, so I ran in to see what happened. She was red in the face and scared, but she didn't gag or throw up. Of course, I immediately pack up to go to the hospital since I didn't know whether she swallowed it or not. Sure enough, x-rays showed the magnet. Just when I felt like the worst mother in the world, the nurse said she swallowed a quarter once when she was little - except she was waiting for the ice cream man, and she had to go in and ask her mother for another quarter. She said she didn't dare tell her Mom what happened until AFTER she ate the ice cream! She had to wait to pass the quarter, and that's what we're doing. Waiting for Ella to pass the magnet. I hope it passes easily so we don't have to take any other measures. Just when I was thinking life was getting boring!!

OH MY GOSH! Let us know how it all "comes out";) You're going to catch up to me soon with the # or E.R. visits/hospital stays you've been making lately! Give her big sugars for us - and lots of green, leafy veggies, too.
