We drove up to the little town of Mount Charleston yesterday. These are some of the houses on the mountainside - notice the one being built in the upper left hand corner. Its closeup is next. It was a fun drive - Las Vegas is at elevation 2,150, and by the time we got up there, we were at elevation 7,650, and the weather was 76 degrees, which was 30 degrees cooler than in the valley. (Note to self - drastic altitude changes and sinus headaches do not go together.)
